I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan with my husband, daughter (18), and son (12) (as well as our two dogs, a sweet Newfoundland and an energetic Aussie Doodle puppy). When our daughter was two, my husband had a serious work accident that changed and uprooted our lives. He fell 30 feet from a rooftop after slipping on an icy patch and his harness failing, and though God graciously spared his life and protected him in many ways, he suffered several broken bones, multiple surgeries, permanent nerve damage on his left side, as well as arthritis developing in his spine. I have been the breadwinner for my family ever since, which has left me feeling exhausted / depleted at times, but God has been faithful through it all. I am so excited for the opportunity to be part of Worship Circle under Jill Phillips' mentorship as I am a songwriter and vocalist on our worship team and desire to help craft songs for our church, but also to grow as a leader and mentor for others that God places in my life.

My name is Jon McCord. I have been serving in full time ministry since 2011, and volunteer ministry before that time. I have grown to know the ups and downs of ministry and the need that leaders have to be loved and not alone. As a worship pastor I found this true in every church I have served. It was easy to find myself pouring into people while in turn not realizing that I was constantly running on empty. I did not have a group of people that understood the struggles of ministry that I could pray with, cry with, talk with and give and receive encouragement and advice from on a regular basis. Worship Circle gave me that community where I could be poured in to as well a place to share and encourage those going through similar things that I was experiencing. The past twelve months have been a time that I had never experienced before and I can say without hesitation that I would have struggled to get through this year without my small group.

My name is Mark Anderson and I have been a worship leader for nearly 6 years now since the Lord called me into worship ministry. Born and raised in Southern California, I left home in 2012 to join the United States Army as a Combat Medic and served for almost six years before settling in upstate New York, where I currently reside. Soon after exiting service, God called me into worship ministry and I have been serving Him and the body of Christ to this day at my home church and through original music the Lord has been leading me to write in recent years. God led me to Worship Circle back in 2022 during a particularly tough ministry season and the love, understanding, and care my soul received has had an eternal impact on my life, my marriage, and the ministry He has called me to.

I'm Haley Faith from Chattanooga, Tennessee! My husband, Marlin, and I are worship team leaders at Rise Church (launched in September 2023)!
We love the mission of church planting and always strive to continue our education by seeking community in environments that foster the growth and support of ministry leaders. We have previously been involved in worship through schooling at Church of the Highlands and Bethel Music College, and leading at an ARC church plant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ministry is so rewarding, but one thing (among many!) I have learned is that an intentional investment in community can make or break the ability to lead strongly long-term. I would love to be a part of Worship Circle to ensure I have a consistent community and mentorship during the beginning stages of our newly planted church! I don't take lightly the responsibility entrusted to my husband and I to lead our worship team and truly help build the culture from the ground up, so I want to invite in and learn from as much wisdom and years of experience as possible. Thank you for considering supporting this season of growth in my worship ministry journey so that I can continue making a lasting difference in the life of our church family and beyond!

My name is Summer Frost Cox and I am a worship leader and singer songwriter in North Florida. There has been revival and growth in my community and I feel the Lord leading me to grow with other worship leaders during this time through the Worship Circle. When God put it on my heart; I couldn’t shake it! I am looking forward to growing with other believers and encouraging one another in what God is doing!

For me being a part of something like Worship Circle is more than a desire, it feels like a necessity. I have felt the lonely dark places of doing ministry alone and to me, it's not worth it. I need honest circles to be a part of, where I can let out the emotions that at times can be hard to express. I think this is what a loving Father wants for His kids.

My name is Grady Camp, and I am a college student at Auburn University. I joined Worship Circle because I want to best prepare myself for what God has in store for me going forward in ministry. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from some incredible people and am so excited to see what God does both in my life and the lives of others throughout this journey!
